NOTICE – The next meeting of the BR RC Club will be Tuesday, Oct 3rd at the Greenwell Springs Road Library at 7:00 PM
 

 The Secretary was asked to read the minutes from our August meeting.  The minutes were read and approved by all members present.
 The Treasurer was asked for a treasurer’s report.  It was given and approved by all members present.
 The Field committee reported that the grass was cut last Thursday and the field was in good shape.
 Safety – No safety problems to report. – Mike gave us a reminder to inspect our planes at home prior to bringing them to the field.  Make sure all the connectors, batteries, servos, engine mounts, and all the other parts are in the proper condition for safe flight.  It was also pointed out that the AMA requires the owner of each plane to have his name and AMA number and address in each plane for them to be covered by insurance.
 Road conditions – Still have to go to Erwinville to turn around to get to the field.  It looks like the construction is in its final stage so they will be installing cross overs before too long.

Old Business

 Charlie still has 8 gallons of fuel available
 Vic still has white and red caps for sale at $6.25 each
 Events – Lee reported the following events in this area are upcoming:

New Business

 The meeting room reservation for next year was turned in to the library Sept. 5, 2006.  All meetings next year will be on the first Tuesday of each month.  The January 2008 meeting was rescheduled to Jan. 8, 2008 since the first Tuesday is a holiday.
 New Member – Vernon Diedrich (Bill) joined our club.  He is somewhat new to Radio Control and is eager to get a big bird.  All members present approved him for membership.
 A motion to adjourn was made and seconded at 7:55 PM.
 No after meeting raffle was held since Glenn was not at the meeting.

The EXCESS amount will go the Club.  So go through all your stuff, DONATE what you can – IT WILL BE APPRECIATED.  And we’ll try to get what you want for everything else.  NOTE:  WHATEVER doesn’t sell, will have to be picked up by whomever DONATED, of brought it to be SOLD.  So bring some good stuff, OK!
